Mission
The Department of Foreign Languages manages the courses in international languages such as English, French etc. The courses aim at the 4 elements required for the preparation of a foreign language: written and oral comprehension, written and oral expression (listening, speaking, reading and writing). For prospective engineers (graduates of BUB specializations), the vocabulary acquisition, some beneficial learning strategies or the use of specialized language in real communication situations are sought.
Language policy
All courses in international languages (English, French, etc ...) take place on the basis of a syllabus. The Department of Foreign Languages offers Romanian language courses for foreign students / students or students / master students involved in international mobility such as Erasmus + mobility. For teachers or administrative staff participating in international mobility, the department offers support to improve language skills by organizing short courses.
